Cette usine produit jusqu'en 1963 les célèbres trains HORNBY ainsi que les Dinky-Toys et les boites de Meccano pour la France. En 1970 cette usine sera démolie. Meccano est actuellement installé dans sa nouvelle usine de Calais, les trains Hornby et les Dinky-Toys ont été abandonnés. Meccano produit toujours les boites du jeu de construction ainsi qu'une importante gamme de jouets divers. Until 1963 this factory was producing the famous HORNBY trains, the Dinky-Toys and the Meccano outfits for France. In 1970 this factory was closed and torn down. Meccano is currently installed in its new factory at Calais, Hornby trains and Dinky-Toys have been abandoned.
The Meccano firm is still producing the blue and gold construction sets and a large range of various toys.
